Location: Burnaston Common Village Hall, Main Street, Burnaston, Derbyshire  

Hours: 2-3 hours per week

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and detail oriented cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the Village Hall is kept clean and presentable for all users. This role requires 2-3 hours of work per week, with flexible scheduling options available.


Responsibilities:

General cleaning of the Village Hall, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting, Cleaning and sanitizing restroom, kitchen areas, and common spaces.

Emptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of properly.

Restocking supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels.

Reporting any maintenance or repair needs to the Parish Clerk.

Ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard.

 

Requirements:

Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential.

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Reliable and punctual – the hall has regular hirers

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Good communication skills.
